Friday, July 22nd – 110 Canada Road, Town Office

  • 8 am – 12 pm, 1- 3 pm – History Books & Souvenirs on Sale at 110 Canada Road, Moscow Town Hall
  • 10 am – 12 pm, 1-3 pm – Special US Postal Stamp in commemoration of Moscow’s Bicentennial

Friday, July 22nd – Station Road, Moscow

Brookfield – Wyman Hydro Station Open House (11 am – 3 pm)

Friday, July 22nd – 125 Canada Road, Elementary School Driveway & Gym

  • 10 am – History Around the Town – Bus Tour – Old Canada Road Historical Society (Departs from Moscow Elementary School Driveway)
  • 2 pm – History Around the Town – Bus Tour – Old Canada Road Historical Society (Departs from Moscow Elementary School Driveway)
  • swing dance8 pm-11 pm – Homecoming Dance featuring the Al Corey Big Band,  Join us for a night of movin’ & groovin’ to the dance tunes of yesteryear.   $5.00/pp Admission to the Homecoming Dance.   Light Refreshment Will Be Served.

Saturday, July 23rd – Moscow

10 am – Bicentennial Parade (Line Up 9 am-START-Manzer Construction Lot/Clark’s Hardware Lot, Route 201/Canada Road:  END-Moscow Elementary School, Route 201/125 Canada Road)

10 am – 6 pm – Variety of Vendors and Activities will be with us all day.

  • New England Lumberjack Association – Demonstrations (12, 1, 2 & 3 pm) & Axe Throwing & Wood Splitting Competitions (4 pm-Locals encouraged to participate $5 Fee: bring your own double bit throwing axe and splitting maul/axe)
  • Wagon Rides from Moscow Elementary School Driveway to Wyman Dam, Robin Robinson
  • Fireman’s Muster (Time TBD)
  • Maine State Police K9 Demonstration (TBD)
  • Vendor Village featuring arts, crafts, famous locals, homesteading demos & more
  • History Books & Souvenirs on Sale
  • 11:30 – 12:00 – Miss Moscow Meet & Greet
  • 1 pm – 1:45 pm – Music by Con Rio Brass (Brass Quintet)
  • 2 pm – 2:45 pm – Music by The Maine POPS Concert Band (Big Band Sound)
  • 3 pm – 3:45 pm – Music by Tom Ambrose Band (Light Rock)
  • 4 pm – 4:45 pm – Music by Skowhegan Community Bank (Big Band Sounds)
  • 5 pm – 5:45 pm – Music by Jewel Clark (Yodeling & Old Country Songs of Her Dad’s, Slim Clark)
  • 6 pm – 6:45 pm – Music by The Misty Mountaineers (Bluegrass)
  • 8:00 – 9:00 pm – Music by The Dime Store Heroes (Rock)
