I am a descendent of Joseph Baker, and came across this website while doing some research. I just wondered if all the events will be held around the Anniversary date of Jan 30, 2016 or if there will be anything taking place in the summer time.
I realize you may not have planned anything yet, so no need to respond if so. I have subscribed to follow the blog.

The answer to your question, is that YES we are planning a full 10 day celebration complete with Dances, Kids Days, Homesteading Days, Parade, Fireworks, Scenic Carriage Rides, Guided Historic Bus Trips around the community and much, much more. The dates of most planned activities will be from July 15 – July 24, 2016. We encourage you to plan a trip “home” for the celebration!
